　　马猴，是知了的幼虫。在我的印象里，暑假最有趣的事情要数捉马猴了。

　　在我老家有一条河，河东是一片树林。暑假的傍晚，我和小伙伴们经常来到树林里捉马猴。一只手电筒、一只广口玻璃瓶，是我们必备的工具。在林子里，仔细观察地面，就会发现有许多绿豆大小的洞口，用小棍子把洞口挑开，一眼就看到了里面的马猴。马猴可不会主动地爬出洞口，怎样把它弄上来呢?我们开动脑筋，想出了三种方法：第一种方法，是用木棍把小洞断续挖大，大约挖有一指深时，马猴就会现身了;第二种方法，将一根细木棍插在洞里，马猴便会本能地用前腿夹住木棍，这时就可以把它像钓鱼一样“钓”上来;第三种方法有些恶作剧，把一些水倒进洞中，马猴怕被淹死，就乖乖地爬了出来。我们捉住的’，只是马猴中的极少部分，更多的马猴，有的已经爬到树干上，有的在后半夜才慢慢爬出，到第二天清晨我们醒来时，它们已在树干上蜕壳成为知了了。

　　马猴是怎样变成知了的呢?我很好奇。一天晚上，在爸爸的指点下，我把一只马猴放在笼子里仔细观察。刚开始，马猴伏在笼子里一动不动，到了半夜，马猴的背部裂开了一个小口，口子越来越大，露出了里面知了青白色的背部。知了慢慢地蠕动，头部、前腿、后腿和屁股相继从壳里挣脱出来，就这样，一只马猴成功蜕变。这个时候，知了全身呈青白色，柔柔嫩嫩，翅膀还蜷缩在一起，让你不忍心抚摸它。大概两个小时后，知了全身变成黑色，双翅已经展开，薄得透明，可以随时起飞啦!
