My home is in a town. It lies in the east of Zhejiang near the East SeA.It has a population of fifty thousand.

Our town is in the south of our county.The Ease Sea is to the east of the town. To the south is flat land.

Mountains are on the west. And a river runs from north to south in the west of my town.

The weather here is good. It is not so cold in winter or so hot in summer. So the sea near my town is full of all sorts of fish. The fishermen of my home town are all living a happy life.

  The trip to Beijing
  Three days ago our families decided to visit Beijing City. Today we met at the bus stop early in the morning. When we were on the bus, we saw a lot of new buildings and new shops. Beijing was taller than before, I thought. It took us about two hours to get to the Great Wall. When the Great Wall appeared in front of us, we could not help thinking how wonderful it is! I wondered how the people in the past built it without modem machines. It is said you can see it from the space.I was proud of it. After coming home I made up my mind to study harder than before. When I grow up, I will work hard to make our country more beautiful and stronger.
  The trip to Beijing
  We had a really unforgettable trip to Beijing last week. We had great fun there.
  On April the 25th, we arrived at the train station at 3 in the morning. We felt really sleepy. And the next day we reached Beijing. Beijing is an old city that has a history of 3,000 years. So it was very beautiful and very different from Changchun. That made us happy.
  On the first day in the morning, we went to Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube. They were very special. And we took many photos. On the afternoon we went to the Peking University. I was very exciting because I have a dream that I can be a student there. There was a beautiful lake and a big library. We were all happy to see such a good university. And then we went to the Temple of Heaven. On the next day, we went to Tian’an Men Square. We watched a flag-raising ceremony. Then we went to the Palace Museum. In the afternoon, we went to the museum. We learned much about Chinese history. On the third day, we climbed the Great Wall. When we get to the top, we felt really tired but we were happy. Because Chinese people often say that one who hasn’t got the Great Wall is not a true man. In the afternoon, we went to China Science and Technology Mansion. There are many interesting things and we learned much about science. On the last day, we went to the Summer Palace. It was very beautiful there. At night, we took the train to return. And also, we finish our trip.
  After the trip, I felt so tired that I just wanted to go to sleep, but I was really happy.
  The trip to Beijing
  On July 5th my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
  We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look.
  The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
  Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.

  I used to think Beijing must be a grand and special city, given that it was the

He had told me more than once that in his mind the smell of coal there after was associated with this whole country , especially the North part . I didn’t smell the coal.   There were many aspects of Beijing that stoke, and even amazed me. Like when I sat on the shabby subway with my friend, I felt as if I was in a dream. I had never seen subway trains as this old and slow. Even the broadcast voice seemed unreal. But then ever since I arrived in Beijing, I often had the unreal feeling. Having dinner outdoors with lots of foreign tourists, sleeping in the hotel molested by mosquitoes and fainting noise from people’s houses, walking on Changan Street three o’clock in the morning, and climbing on the South part of the GreatWall to watch how packed with people the North part was. All this reminded me that I was on the way, that I was far away from where I was from. But I guess maybe this was exactly why people crave from travelling: What will happen is unexpected, so the journey is full of surprise and adventure.
